The latest BLS News Release showing employment and wage data for Washington counties is now available online at http://www.bls.gov/ro9/qcewwa.pdf.
Employment and wage data are available for all counties in Washington. Items of note include:
- Employment rose 3.7% in Washington’s largest county, King, from September 2012 to September 2013, above the national rate of 1.7%.
- King County’s average weekly wage increased 1.6%, compared to the national average increase of 1.9%.
- King County’s average weekly wage of $1,376 was the highest in the state, and 10th highest among the 334 largest U.S. counties.
- Okanogan County’s average weekly wage of $518 was lowest in the state.
