Enumclaw resident Wanda Jane Dubuque Sweetser, 59, died April 10, 2011, following a battle with inflammatory breast cancer.
She was born Feb. 6, 1952, in Burlington, Vt., to Percy and Phyllis Dubuque. She was raised in Grand Isle, Vt., and graduated from Milton High School in 1970. After marrying Jim Sweetser in May 1981, they moved to Washington state to raise their family. She was a paralegal for 40 years and enjoyed riding horses, camping, reading and spending time with family, especially her four grandchildren.
She is survived by husband Jim Sweetser; daughters Marla Clark and husband Todd and Krystal Sweetser and companion Shawn Sparks; son James P. Sweetser and companion Lacey Swain; mother Phyllis Gardner and stepfather Les Gardner; sisters Sherry Dubuque and DeAnn Wabuti; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by father Percy Dubuque; brother Perry Dubuque; and grandparents Norman and Jessie Blow.
A celebration of her life will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 16, at the home of Todd and Marla Clark, 3475 Wynalda Dr., Enumclaw.
