Kelsey M. “Kels” Carter, 16, died Dec. 11, 2010.

She was born April 19, 1994, in Roosevelt, Utah, to Kelly Carter and Christy Doll. She attended Enumclaw High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, listening to Eminem with her dog Nevaeh. She was an honor roll student.

She is survived by her mother, Christy Doll; sister Kylie Riewe; and grandmother Sharon Martin. She was preceded in death by her father Kelly Carter and great-grandmother Phyllis Martin.

A funeral service took place at noon Tuesday, Dec. 21, in the Enumclaw High School commons. Burial will be at the Buckley city cemetery.
