Sampson Michel

Sampson Oliver Michel of Auburn died Dec. 26, 2012. He was 27.

He was born Aug. 27, 1985, to Allen and Julie Michel in Auburn, Wash. He was a race car driver who enjoyed hunting, fishing and motorcycles. He was a Native American beadier and raisesg dancer who loved spending time with his children.

He is survived by wife Cristina Kilbourne of Enumclaw; sons Talin and Weston Michel of Auburn; daughter Cheyanne Begay of Spokane, Wash; father Allen Michel of Evans, Wash.; mother Julie Louie of Auburn; grandparents Shirley Taylor of Auburn and Gary Rupert of Addy, Wash.; brother Jacque Louie of Auburn; sister Rosa Louie of Auburn; and great-grandmother Grace Rupert of Addy.

He is preceded in death by grandfathers Tom Louie Sr. and Earl Taylor and grandmother Marcella Swan.

Funeral services took place at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, at Penecostal Church of Muckleshoot in Auburn; at 8 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, at Penecostal Church of Muckleshoot; at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, at Inchelium Community Center; and at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31, at Inchelium Community Center. Burial was at Hall Creek Cemetery.
