Bert Daniel Gill, a longtime Enumclaw resident, died Sept. 2, 2011, at the age of 90.

He was born Jan. 18, 1921, in Buckley to Frank and Jessie Gill and worked 42 years for Weyerhaeuser. He was a longtime member of the Enumclaw Church of the Nazarene who loved fishing, hunting and camping. He was able to share this as a Boy Scout leader. He also liked to dance and was a member of the Glacier Gliders folk dancers.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Clarice; daughter Diane Franchini and husband Steve of Enumclaw; son Michael Gill of Enumclaw; sisters Nona Gilbert and Betty Brown; brother Bob Gill; four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by brothers Alfred Gill and Frank Gill.
