Rose Emma McDowell, 86, died March 9, 2011, in Kent, following a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

She was born Aug. 5, 1924, in Idaho and was a longtime resident of Buckley.

Memorials may be made to the A.D. Alzheimer’s Association, 12721 30th Ave. N.E., Suite 101, Seattle, 98125.

A memorial service will take place at a later date.

Arrangements are by Weeks’ Funeral Home of Buckley.
