Enumclaw resident William R. “Bill” Brown died Dec. 27, 2013. He was 83.

He was born Nov. 14, 1930, in Charlottesville, Va., and was a retired U.S. Air Force officer. He was a member of the Enumclaw Men’s Club and an active member of Hillside Community Church.

He is survived by his wife Dean; three children; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Burial was at Tahoma National Cemetery on Friday, Jan. 3. A celebration of his life took place at Hillside Community Church on Saturday, Jan. 4.

Donations in his honor may be made to Franciscan Hospice or Hillside Community Church.

Arrangements were by Weeks’ Enumclaw Funeral Home.
