Irene Gudrun (Kowalski) Dutton, 79, died Sept. 3, 2011, in Enumclaw.

She was born Jan. 20, 1932, in Glascow, Mont., to John and Nellie (Bjarko) Kowalski and grad-uated from Enumclaw High School in 1950. She married Bill Dutton on May 20, 1989, and their life consisted of camping, dancing at Eagles halls and playing cards with friends. They also were greatly involved in church life at Wabash, First Baptist and Hillside Community churches.

She is survived by her husband Bill of Buckley; sons Stan, Scott, Stuart and Steve; daughters Char-mayne and Dorcene; sisters Josephine, Leone and Karen; and three grandsons.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Joe.

A memorial service took place Sunday Sept. 11, at Hillside Community Church in Enumclaw.
