Lois Opal Cooper Dunks died Dec. 2, 2011, in Puyallup.

She was born Jan. 31, 1927, in Havre, Mont., and moved to Washington in 1941 to attend the Seventh-day Adventist Academy. She married Aubrey C. Dunks in 1943. She worked for Associated Grocers for more than 20 years.

She is survived by son Dale G. Dunks Sr.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
