Orine “Susie” Pattee, 89, died June 2, 2011, in Seattle.

She was born Dec. 8, 1921, in Bertha, Minn., and was a former resident of Carbonado. She is remembered for her canned fruits and vegetables, for playing the guitar and singing old-time music with her brothers and friends. She enjoyed baking and working on crafts.

She is survived by son Larry Attleson and wife Bonnie of Kenai, Alaska; daughter Diane Everson and husband Douglas of Seattle; five grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband Earl Pattee on July 28, 2003, and by brothers Leo and Merle Ebert.

A memorial service is planned for 3 p.m. Sunday, June 12, at Carbonado Community Church.
