Alan Dwayne Coynor, 51, of Carbonado died Sept. 7, 2011, in Tacoma. He was born Jan. 20, 1960, in Los Angeles.

He had lived in the Plateau area for 30 years. A true mountain man, if he wasn’t with his family he was out in the woods. He was an extraordinary father. His love for life and amazing spirit inspired his girls daily.

He is survived by his parents Darlene and Floyd Coynor; brother Mark Coynor; daughters Bobbi, Katie, Kelsey and Carly Coynor; two grandchildren; and grandfather Eldon Jones.

A service took place Tuesday, Sept. 13, at the Wilkeson Eagles.

Remembrances may be made in his name to the donor’s favorite charity.
