Enumclaw resident Leslie K. Walthers died Nov. 29, 2015, at his home. He was 63.

He was born April 24, 1952, at Fort Benning, Ga. He was a musician who taught, inspired and gave enjoyment to others, having performed with many bands throughout the Northwest. He loved animals and provided a home to many dogs.

He is survived by sister Sheila S. Kuro of Friday Harbor, Wash.; brother Douglas A. Walthers of Enumclaw; and stepmother Anneliese Walthers and stepsister Carol Solis, both of Burlington, Canada.

He was preceded in death by brother David R. Walthers, sister Sharon Y. Vangilder, mother Dorothy A. Oflaherty and father Robert Walthers.

A service is planned for Saturday, Dec. 19, at Hillside Community Church in Enumclaw.
