Buckley resident Marvin Rich Jr., 67, died July 1, 2016.

He was born May 13, 1949, in Tacoma to Marvin and Ester Rich. He loved fishing, hunting, hiking and carpentry. His grandchildren were important to him and he was very proud of them.

He is survived by sons Shaine (Jessica) Rich of Buckley, Jason Burks of Buckley and John Burks of Arizona; sister Kathy (Don) Travis of Spanaway, Wash.; 10 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. His son, Marvin Rich III, died July 1, 2016.

A memorial service will take place at 2:30 p.m. Friday, July 29, at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent.
