Gary Ernest Carlson died peacefully on May 18, 2017. He was born on November 26, 1937.

He married Judith Carlson on May 9th, 1959. Gary worked for Weyerhauser for many years and retired in 1993.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending the summers in Gig Harbor and Lake Chelan with his family. Gary also loved playing softball for the Wishbone Tavern and Weyerhauser. He and Judith both loved their cats, Smokey and Bernie.

Gary was preceded in death by his wife, Judith; his parents, Godfrey and Francis Carlson; and his brother Lonnie Carlson. He is survived by his children, Rick Carlson and wife, Tami; Bob Carlson and wife, Laurie; Cindy Pohlman and husband, Paul; Don Carlson; and brother Jim Carlson and wife, Merle. He is also survived by three grandchildren: Ryan Jameyson, Jennifer Nordstrom and Branden Carlson.

Memorial service will be set at a time and date to be determined.

The family requests that all donations be made to Hospice.
