Allan Yorke Park was filled with the sound of Dixieland music July 5 as the Generals 7 Dixie Land Band took

the outdoor stage.

The park will come alive with live music every Wednesday evening for the rest of the summer

season with the annual Tunes@Tapps concert series. The musical series will run through Aug. 16. On tap this

week is Folsom Prism, which offers a modern look and tribute to Johnny Cash. Future shows bring Megs

McLean on July 19; Heart by Heart, July 26; The Great Pretenders, Aug. 2; Danny Vernon’s Illusion of Elvis show on

Aug. 9; and The Beatniks on Aug. 16. All shows begin at 6:30 p.m. and are accompanied by an outdoor market.
