The King County Fair opened the gates Thursday and ran through Sunday.
The fair enjoyed sunny skies and there were both old and new activities, animals, exhibits, music, food and frolic for all ages and interests, including Mutton Bustin’.
Among the entertainers was Professor Bamboozle entertaining kids and parents with magic tricks, illusions and balloon art. Carnival and animal rides, a tug o’ war and circus acts were a big hit. Virtuoso keyboard player Craig Gammon played the black and whites for several groups. JD Platt and the K9 Kings Flying Dog Show were an aerial wonder.
The King County Fair is the longest running fair west of the Mississippi, 155 year. When the fair first opened Abraham Lincoln was president.
