Enumclaw High’s Kaden Anderson was named a WIAA Athlete of the Week.

The announcement was made Dec. 13 and was based on accomplishments during the week of Dec. 3-9.

Each week throughout the school year, the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association recognizes varsity athletes who exhibited an outstanding performance. All varsity level students in good academic standing at their schools are eligible to receive the WIAA award.

Nominations are open to athletic administrators, coaches, fans and members of the media.

Anderson, a Hornet senior, scored a career-high 36 points and added 13 rebounds, three blocks, and three assists while leading Enumclaw to a 76-47 road victory over Auburn on Dec. 9.
