THREE-CAR CRASH: Shortly after 5 p.m. July 28, police responded to a three-car accident on state Route 410 near Semanski Street. One vehicle was towed and one person was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital.

CAN’T LIVE THERE: Police were told July 28 it appeared someone was living in a motorhome parked at a Roosevelt Avenue address. Subjects said they were living in the motorhome while between residences and would be moving into a permanent home the following day.

TOO SLICK: An officer was flagged down by a motorcyclist the afternoon of July 28 at the intersection of Roosevelt Avenue and Griffin Avenue. The rider reported the roadway was slick. It was noted there had been a diesel spill days before that had been washed down by the Fire Department.

ASKED TO LEAVE: A homeowner called police at 3:23 a.m. July 27, asking that an officer help her get rid of an unwanted guest. She had been asking the guest to leave for several hours, but he refused. An officer responded and explained to the man how “criminal trespass” laws work and he agreed to leave without further incident.

PARAPHERNALIA: A July 27 traffic stop along Cole Street resulted in one person being cited and released for possession if drug paraphernalia.

SEVERAL CHARGES: A July 27 traffic stop on Cole Street resulted in one person booked into jail for driving under the influence, possession of both marijuana and drug paraphernalia and reckless endangerment. An infant in the vehicle was released to another person, as was the vehicle.

DOMESTIC: Police responded July 7 to a McHugh Avenue address and a dispute between a father and his adult son. The son was advised to leave and informed of the consequences should he return.

LAPTOP THEFT: A laptop computer was reported stolen July 26 from a vehicle parked on McHugh Avenue.

MEDICATION STOLEN: Police received a telephone call July 26 from someone who said a bag containing personal items, including prescription medication, was stolen while the victim was attending Creation 2010.

PURSE TAKEN: Police took a report July 26 from someone who left a purse on a bench at Rotary Centennial Park, only to have it stolen.

UNWANTED: A McKinley Street resident told police July 26 a tall, thin man wearing gray shorts and a black jacket was seen on a swing in the caller’s backyard. The subject fled when he realized he had been spotted. The caller was told to dial 911 if it happened again.

CONCERNED: Police were contacted July 26 by someone concerned about the welfare of a person at a Wynalda Drive address. The call resulted in someone taken to the Auburn hospital for assessment and several firearms taken from the residence for safekeeping.

SHOT FIRED: Police were told July 26 a man who had been drinking discharged a weapon at his Myrtine Street residence. The man was taken into custody and booked for reckless endangerment and discharging a firearm in the city.

ANIMAL ASSIST: Police learned July 24 of a locked vehicle containing a dog that appeared to be in distress. Police located the registered owner to resolve the situation.

TRASH COMPLAINT: A complaint was received July 24 of Creation 2010 campers throwing things into a yard adjacent to the south parking lot. The situation was settled with the help of Creation security.

ARREST WARRANTS: During a July 24 traffic stop, it was determined a passenger in the car was the subject of an Auburn arrest warrant. Enumclaw and Auburn police met at the White River Amphitheatre to transfer custody of the suspect.

FATHER AND SON: Police responded July 24 to a fight in progress at a Railroad Avenue address, eventually learning it was a father who was attempting to control his intoxicated son. The son was taken into custody due to three outstanding arrest warrants and was taken to the Buckley jail.

EXTRA PATROL: Police were asked July 23 to provide extra patrols in the 1100 block of Roosevelt Avenue due to recent vandalism in the area.

DRUG ADVICE: A Lafromboise Street resident visited the police station July 23, asking how he should handle a neighbor’s apparent drug activity.

FAMILY TROUBLE: Police responded July 23 to a Wynalda Drive residence after hearing of a domestic situation that was turning physical. The trouble was between an adult daughter and her father. Each accused the other of being intoxicated. The man was taken into custody for malicious mischief/domestic violence.
