Susan Arbury died July 17, 2018, due to a sudden and unexpected illness, with her sister, daughter and husband at her side.

She was born March 9, 1949, in Seattle to parents Ted and Helen. She graduated from Shoreline High School in 1967 and attended the University of Puget Sound in 1968 where she was an Adelphian and earned a bachelor’s degree in music. She had a daughter, Autumn, in 1977, married Chuck in 1990 and was a lifelong learner and teacher, earning her teaching certificate and master’s degree in administration. Her passions were music, children and animals.

There will be public service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, at Thunder Mountain Middle School, 42018 264th Ave. S.E., Enumclaw, 98022.

In her honor, the family suggests a show of unconditional love to children and animals and singing or listening to favorite music.
