It is amazing you will use the Southern Poverty Law Center as a credible source on the Opinion page dated Aug. 1, 2018. The Washington Times, Washington Post and FBI no longer use them as a credible source.
If you go to their website and see who they have on their “hate list” you can see a pattern of including those who do not agree with their liberal political agenda.
They recently have paid out millions in a court case with Maajid Nawaz and his foundation called Quilliam that fights extremism. SPLC has accused many of “hate.” They placed the Family Research Council on its hate map and later a gunman walked into their headquarters and later told the FBI that he used the SPLC website to pick his target. The Alliance Defending Freedom is a respected organization of conservative lawyers dedicated to defending religious liberty. It is not a “hate” group. They also placed Ben Carson and Charles Murray on their “hate” list. Both very respected gentlemen.
The Southern Poverty Law Center in my opinion is the hate group.
