Helen A. Sabin passed away peacefully in Seattle surrounded by family on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 95 years of age. She was born in Fosston, Minnesota April 10, 1923 and after high school in 1940 moved with her parents and sisters to Enumclaw, WA, residing there until 2005. Helen was on active duty in the Coast Guard during WW II from 1943-1945. She married Arnold E. Sabin in 1945 and continued a career with The Pacific Telephone Company in Enumclaw from 1945-1960. Helen really enjoyed an active life as an expert bridge player, member of Enumclaw’s Children’s Orthopedic Guild, extensive travel, and entertaining at a Summer home on Lake Sawyer.
She is preceded in death by her parents Beda and Christoffer Christofferson; sisters Doris Bierer and Betty Anderson; and husband Arnold E. Sabin. She is survived by son Jack (Janice), Vashon; grandson Michael Sabin (Angelique), Seattle; granddaughters Laura Sabin Lopez, Seattle, Holly (Brent Houston), Vashon; and great grandchildren, William Sabin, Charlotte Sabin, and Jack Houston.
