Enumclaw baseball program hosts fundraiser during annual rivalry game

Make sure to grab a Housewife Hotdog while at the game this Friday.

The Enumclaw High Baseball Program, a local nonprofit, will be hosting a fundraiser during this Friday’s Battle of the Bridge game between the Enumclaw and White River Hornets.

The “Take Me Out to The Ballgame” fundraiser will be at Osborne Field. Doors open at 6 p.m., although the game begins at 7 and is expected to end around 9.

During the game, there will be a live raffle for items such as home decor baskets, stadium blankets, and local business baskets, with tickets available for $1 each.

There will also be “Battle of the Bridge” apparel being sold.

Finally, Housewife Hotdogs will be offering hungry game-goers a “Ballpark Hotdog Meal,” for $10, which includes a hotdog, chips, cookie, and a soda or coffee.

All money raised at the fundraiser goes toward covering costs for new equipment and uniforms for the Enumclaw Hornets, as well as facility rental fees, transportation for away games, and home field maintenance. The goal this year is to raise $6,000.
