Dace Collins, 51, died Nov. 1, 2019, at his home in Enumclaw.
He was born Oct. 18, 1968, in Enumclaw to Grant and Marilyn Collins, who preceded him in death.
He started working at local dairies during high school and went on to get his diesel mechanic certification from Bates Technical College. He drove log trucks for a time and then worked for Kenworth Northwest for more than 20 years as shop foreman. More recently, he worked for RCW in Tacoma. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, being crew chief for his cousin’s motorcycle and race car teams, dancing, playing ladder ball, and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by children Dace Collins Jr. and Jessica Hughes; siblings Deana French (Tim), Danielle McIntosh (Brian), Derek Collins (Carrie); and three grandchildren.
