December 5
– A School Resource Officer forwarded information about a possible sexual assault. Following an investigation it was determined no crime had occurred.
– A church employee notified police of a transient person sleeping on the property. Contact was made and the individual agreed to move along.
December 4
– Police conducted a traffic stop shortly before 10 p.m. at Warner Avenue and state Route 410. The driver was arrested for DUI and the vehicle was released to a relative.
– Police checked on the welfare of children living in a motorhome with their father and found they were being cared for. After a follow-up with Child Protective Services, it was learned the same situation had been investigated in late November and the case had been closed. It was determined the kids were well fed and cared for.
– Officers responded to a picketing event in front of St. Elizabeth Hospital after taking a complaint about noise. Police determined it was a peaceful event with no issues. The complainant was notified by phone.
– Police were alerted at 11 a.m. to a man flailing his arms and falling over in the vicinity of Warner Avenue and state Route 410. The man was known to police. He was collecting items and walking around, not causing a problem.
– Police received two reports of items stolen from vehicles at Chinook Avenue addresses.
December 3
– An officer was dispatched to the SCORE jail in Des Moines to take custody of an individual wanted on an Enumclaw Municipal Court warrant. The inmate was returned to Enumclaw for booking.
– Police were told at 4:24 p.m. of a shoplifting incident at a Griffin Avenue business. The suspect fled on foot. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
– A city resident contacted police after being ordered by the court system to surrender a firearm. Police responded and found the weapon, and other items, had been stolen. A theft report was taken.
– Authorities were told at noon of an individual who appeared to be under the influence of drugs and was beginning to remove his clothing. Police made contact with the man and warned him about his behavior.
December 2
– City police were asked to assist King County deputies who had been in pursuit of a stolen vehicle; the drivers of the stolen auto had already rammed a deputy’s vehicle and had been stopped at Southeast 400th Street and 212th Avenue Southeast. Just prior to police arrival the suspect had been detained.
– An area resident reported something had been thrown through the rear window of her vehicle while she was driving on Warner Avenue. There were no witnesses to the 9 p.m. incident and no immediate suspects.
– Police were alerted to two individuals who were sitting in front an ATM at a city bank, making customers feel uncomfortable about using the machine. Officers contacted to two, who agreed to move to another area.
– Items were taken from a Bathke Avenue location during a vehicle prowl. The owner was preparing a list of missing items.

December 1
– At about 6:45 p.m., an officer was dispatched to check on the welfare of a female who was walking in the 25500 block of Lawson Street. The caller reported that his transient mother was on her way to see her husband. The mother had made suicidal statements. The area check was unsuccessful and the information was passed along to King County deputies. At about 10 p.m., KCSO located the female unharmed.
November 29
– Police were dispatched at 9:14 p.m. to a medical emergency in the 32300 block of Lynch Lane. They administered CPR in conjunction with a defibrillator. Officers continued CPR until medical personnel arrived on scene and transported the individual to a medical facility.
– At 11 a.m. officers responded to the 22000 block of Southeast 288th Street after hearing of a domestic dispute. Officers mediated the dispute and served a protection order against one of the parties. No crime was reported.
