Paul and Jennifer Wik of Clarkston, Wash., announce the birth of their son Alexander Leroy, born Jan. 31, 2009, at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Lewiston, Idaho. He weighed 8 pounds, 1 1/2 ounces and was 21 1/2 inches. He joins sister Anna, 2.

Grandparents are Pam Wik of Buckley; Mel and Nancy Wik of Enumclaw, Louise Pascal of Cambridge, Mass., and Jim Soules of Venice, Calif. Great-grandparents are LeRoy and Lucille Sonneson of Enumclaw and Marian Gamble of Washington, D.C. Great-great-grandmother is Orie Anderson of Enumclaw.
