F. Marie Moore died Feb. 1, 2020, in Enumclaw.
She was born Aug. 5, 1929, in Ada, Oklahoma, to William and Hattie Lewis. Her family moved to California to pursue a better life when she was 7. In 1954, she moved to Seattle with her husband and children. She worked for Boeing for 23 years, retiring in 1990. She had a strong love for family, always putting them first. She loved to travel with her husband Charles, either cruising or in their motorhome. She also enjoyed antiquing and attending garage sales. The couple built their dream home in Pahrump, Nevada, in 2000, where they lived for 18 years before moving back to Enumclaw to be close to family.
She is survived by sons Richard Moore (Jean) of Mill Creek, Washington, and Terry Moore (Kayahanna) of Federal Way; daughters Theresa Nichols (Robert) of Milton and Tracy Holyan (Charles) of Enumclaw; brothers BJ Lewis (Rose Marie) and Olan Lewis (Jackie), all of Sacramento, California, and Chester Lewis (Peggy) of Vallejo, California; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Charles R. Moore, on July 13, 2018.
The couple’s remains will be scattered at Lover’s Point in Monterey, California, where they were married.
