On Wednesday, December 18, 2019, Lorrie Ann Kuro, beloved wife, mother, daughter, and grandmother, passed away suddenly at the age of 65.
Lorrie was born on November 16, 1954 in Puyallup, WA to Mary Lou (White) Caldwell. On September 1, 1973 she married the love of her life, Kim Kuro. They raised three sons, Kaelon, Kasey and Klayton. Lorrie was passionate about teaching. She was a 5th grade teacher at Rainier Christian School, Maple Valley, WA. She adored her students and coworkers. Lorrie was very creative and enjoyed gardening, quilting, writing songs and playing her guitar. She really delighted in watching sunsets. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, taking them for walks and bike rides.
Lorrie is survived by Kim, her husband of 47 years, sons, Kaelon, Kasey (Andrea), and Klayton (Nicole), her mother, Mary Lou Durgin, brother, Chad Caldwell, and her seven precious grandchildren, Kylie, Bear, Kage, Koa, Alivia, River and Ellie.
Lorrie was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Caldwell.
A private service was held by the family on Monday, December 23rd, 2019.
