On February 7, 2020, at home surrounded by her husband and daughters, Linda Jean Rhodes peacefully left our world.
For decades, she defied all odds in her battle with ovarian cancer and in the process raised two daughters, loved her grandchildren, traveled the world, and maintained a house and garden that should have been featured in a magazine. She was part of circles of friends who lived life together, some sharing memories all the way back to elementary school in Bellevue, WA. She always took tremendous pride and care in the small details, knowing that those were what made the difference between ordinary and extraordinary.
She will be greatly missed by all, but especially by her family. Husband Steve, daughters Effie and Whitney, grandchildren Eva, Mara, and Theo, and sister Kay. Thank you for the beautiful ways you touched our lives.
A celebration of her life will be held at the Enumclaw Expo Center Field House, on Saturday, May 9 from 2 – 4 pm. Donations in her name may be made online to the Rivkin Center in Seattle at www.rivkin.org. Please share a memory of Linda on the tribute wall at www.weeksfuneralhomes.com.
