April 2
– Officers responded to a report of a suspicious individual hanging out in the St. Elizabeth Hospital parking lot around noon. Upon contact, the issue was settled.
– A call came in around 10 a.m. concerning an open box of tools, but no workers, near the Foothills Trail construction area. When police swung by, workers were on site.
– A home on Bongard Ave. was egged around 4 a.m. Officers were unable to locate any suspects, but there was no damage to the house or car. Extra patrols were requested.
April 1
– Officers were called around 8:30 p.m. about a private party at a Sorenson Ave. home. Officers initially said they would not respond. An hour later, the reporting party called again to speak with an officer, saying there was an ongoing dispute about the number of cars taking up parking spaces. Officers said they’d check on the parking issue and send extra patrols.
– A report came in around 2 a.m. about individuals camping out on the porch of the Calvary Presbyterian Church. Suspects were advised to move along.
March 31
– Officers responded to a report of a machete-wielding man behind QFC around 7 p.m, but were unable to locate him.
– On Roosevelt Ave, officers pulled over a man who was reported speeding and swerving into oncoming traffic around 7 p.m. He was advised to cease his behavior.
– An individual reported multiple vehicles blowing through a stop sign at the corner of Moore Ave. and McKinley St. Officers will send extra patrols.
– Officers checked the Foothills trailhead for any transient camp around 1 p.m. After finding two, the issue was settled on contact.
– A report came in about a transient woman bothering customers in the drive-through at McDonalds around 8 a.m. When officers came onto the scene, they determined the woman had permission to be there and was not bothering customers.
March 30
– An anonymous complaint came in around 2 p.m. about Northwest Safe being open for business during the quarantine. Officers determined they are considered an “essential business” and are allowed to operate at this time.

March 28
– A man was caught on a security tape urinating on a 3rd Avenue business around 10 p.m. Officers cited the man for disorderly conduct.
– Officers were dispatched to a Railroad Ave. address around 7 p.m. to a report of malicious mischief. They found stickers had been placed on lamp posts and traffic signs.
– A Pacific St. resident reported a possible mail theft around 10:30 a.m. They were unsure if any mail had been stolen, but their mailbox was pried open.
– Officers responded to a report of two unwanted individuals at the Lake Sawyer Resort around 7 a.m. It was determined they both had felony arrest warrants and were taken into custody.
March 26
– A lost wallet was found and turned into police around 3 p.m. Arraignments were made to send the wallet to its owner in Michigan.
March 25
– Officers were flagged down around 8 p.m. by a family trying to get their child to a hospital for a head injury. The family had initially turned down an ambulance ride, but officers were able to guide them to St. Elizabeth Hospital. The child was treated for a mild head injury.
– Around noon, officers were contacted about a woman and her children playing baseball at the skate park and were told the park was closed. The three left without incident.
