The Enumclaw Danish Sisterhood, Unity Lodge #75 annually offers a $500 scholarship to an Enumclaw High School graduate. The recipient for 2020 is Kaden Bolton, son of Justin and Resa Bolton of Enumclaw.

Kaden’s many academic and cultural accomplishments fit best with the Sisterhood’s requirements. He was active in student government, culminating in being elected ASB president last year. He also is fluent in German, visiting the country and its culture. His other passion through high school was drama. He would have performed the lead role in “Hello Dolly” during the spring if not for the school’s closure.

Due to no traditional graduation for the Class of 2020, a member of the scholarship committee presented the scholarship check to Kaden at his home, where he was accompanied by his immediate family, including his grandparents.

Kaden will attend Pacific Lutheran University in the honors program, double majoring in political science and German with a minor in drama. He aspires to a career in public service.
