Enumclaw students are fighting against hate

It’s been a while since I’ve been so proud of our youth.

I wish to commend the students of our local high school their activism & courage. I haven’t been so proud of young people since I was one in the 1960s.

These students are demonstrating & standing up for the values they learned in this town from their families, churches & schools. Now, they are being bullied & threatened. The school board”s solution to “monitor” the situation is a cop out. Adults are letting these youths defend themselves, instead of helping. I am ashamed of these people.

Contact the police, the FBI, or the Southern Poverty Law Center for help in putting a stop to the threats & cyber-bullying. Help these brave young people.
