“Rocking out” to an alarm clock, a stabbing victim at St. Elizabeth, and an argument over masks.

ENUMCLAW

Dec. 3

– An officer on patrol at 2:21 a.m. spotted an open gate at the Department of Natural Resources site at the corner of Farman Street and Griffin Avenue. Nothing suspicious was found.

Dec. 2

– At 3:43 a.m. police responded to a call about an unwanted person in a city business. An officer made contact and the individual agreed to move along.

– Police performed a welfare check on a man who wanted help. He was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital for an involuntary commitment.

– Officers responded to an afternoon call about a shoplifting incident that had just occurred at a Roosevelt Avenue business. A suspect could not be identified.

– A commercial burglary report had police responding to a Rainier Avenue location. A report was taken. There were no suspects.

– A citizen reported a vehicle was blocking a portion of Harding Street. Police told the owner the vehicle had to be moved or it would be impounded.

– A package was reported stolen from the porch of a Jensen Street residence. There were no suspects.

Dec. 1

– Police were asked to perform a welfare check on a gentleman who seemed confused. He could not be located, but contact was made by phone. The man agreed to call 911 if he needed help.

– A man called police at 7:10 a.m., reporting a known subject was throwing rocks at his window. Police turned around when the man called back; the rock thrower turned out to be a neighbor who was attempting to wake him up so he could go to work.

Nov. 30

– A man called police at 10 a.m., reporting that his UPS truck had just been stolen. As city officers were taking the report, King County deputies recovered the vehicle. It had already been listed as being stolen in North Carolina. The vehicle was released to the driver and his supervisor.

– Police learned of a commercial burglary that occurred over the weekend at a Cole Street location. There were no immediate suspects.

– A resident of Initial Avenue reported several of his vehicles had been prowled overnight. No losses were reported; extra patrol was requested.

Nov. 29

– Police were asked to check on the welfare of a man slumped over the wheel while parked at a Roosevelt Avenue business. He was found to be sitting in a stolen vehicle so he was arrested and booked into the King County jail.

– Shortly before 11 a.m. officers made contact with a shoplifter who was cited for theft and released. The suspect and another person were trespassed from the Roosevelt Avenue business.

– A vehicle that had previously been involved in a hit-and-run incident was located at the cemetery on Southeast 416 th Street. The owner was notified and took possession of the vehicle. The accident occurred just after noon at Semanski Street and Warner Avenue; the vehicle was recovered three hours later.

Nov. 28

– After hearing of a driver who was possibly impaired, police located the suspect vehicle on Roosevelt Avenue. The driver proved to be impaired and was arrested for DUI. Two days later, after posting bond on existing warrants and the new charge, the suspect was released.

Nov. 27

– An individual was reportedly creating a disturbance at 4:12 p.m. at a Garrett Street business. A report was taken for follow-up.

Nov. 26

– An officer responded to a Roosevelt Avenue parking lot where there was an argument about a facemask not being worn. The issue was settled upon police contact.

Nov. 25

– A stabbing victim arrived at St. Elizabeth Hospital at 3:24 p.m. The lead agency was the Auburn Police Department.

– A 9 p.m. traffic stop on Watson Street resulted in the driver being arrested for DUI and taken to jail. The inmate was released the following day after posting bond.

– After learning of a man down on Roosevelt Avenue, police responded and located an intoxicated man. He was given a courtesy ride.

– Police took a morning complaint of multiple people loitering and littering in a Stevenson Avenue parking lot. Officers arrested one person for obstructing and trespass letters were issued.

Nov. 29

– City officers responded to Enumclaw at 3:22 p.m. to aid in the search for the suspect in a hit-and-run incident. Authorities searched the vicinity of Southeast 416 th Street but a suspect was not found.

Nov. 28

– It was a few minutes after 8 p.m. when police were dispatched to a two-vehicle collision in the 29700 block of 224 th Avenue Southeast. An investigation led to the arrest of one of the motorists for driving under the influence. Officers learned the DUI driver had been traveling southbound on 224th when he crossed the centerline into the opposite lane of traffic and collided with the other involved vehicle. Both occupants of the other vehicle were transported to Covington MultiCare for treatment of their injuries. The DUI driver was booked into the Enumclaw jail.

– Shortly after 1 a.m. city police were dispatched to a collision in the vicinity of Lake Sawyer Road and Roberts Drive. It was determined the driver was under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs. She was charged with DUI and booked into the Enumclaw jail while her vehicle was impounded.

Nov. 26

– Police took an afternoon 911 report of a motorhome being driven erratically on Third Avenue. Officers checked the area but did not located the RV in question.

Nov. 25

– A vehicle prowling incident was reported by a resident of Lake Sawyer Road. Police turned up no witnesses, suspects or physical evidence during their investigation.

Nov. 24

– A Stuart Avenue resident reported being the victim of an attempted fraud. The complainant said she had received a suspicious phone call from someone claiming to be with the sheriff’s department. The suspicious caller wanted to discuss activity regarding the victim’s social security number. The intended victim did not provide any personal information and informed the caller that the police would be notified.

Nov. 23

– Police were dispatched at 1:38 a.m. to the Pebble Creek neighborhood in Maple Valley, asked to assist with a call in King County Sheriff’s Office jurisdiction. Someone had reported a man crying near a neighborhood park and police were asked to check on him. He could not be located.
