Editor’s note: This letter is in response to the letter, “Don’t compare Trump supporters to cultists,” published Dec. 23.

Mexico is not paying for the wall, you didn’t care; he didn’t pay off the national debt, you didn’t care; he didn’t release his tax returns, you didn’t care; he didn’t make North Korea do anything, you didn’t care; he did play more golf than former President Obama, you didn’t care; he admitted to grabbing women by their privates, you didn’t care — I could go on and on but I think you get the point.

He lies constantly about almost everything and you don’t care. If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and acts like a duck, it’s probably a duck! A cult leader can do or say anything and his followers don’t care.
