The Enumclaw library will be re-opening with modified in-person services starting April 7.

The King County Library System made the announcement in an April 2 press release, which also announced that the Snoqualmie, Federal Way 320th, Vashon Island, and Woodinville libraries were opening as well.

According to the library system, this means local residents will be able to browse collections, use computers, copiers and printers, access Wi-Fi, and get socially-distanced help from staff.

It should be noted that local residents will be admitted on a first-come, first-serve basis, and staff will ensure that occupancy levels in the library doesn’t exceed 50 percent of building capacity.

Curbside assistance at the library ended March 31 in anticipation of the library reopening.

To keep the library clean, “Entry into the library will be permitted at every other hour, followed by an hour of cleaning,” said KCLS Public Relations Specialist Sarah Thomas.

The library will be open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1 to 8 p.m., and Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10 a.m.to 5 p.m.
