Two arrested after pursuit | Buckley Police

An officer on patrol at 6:05 p.m. Dec. 25 was told of a vehicle being driven by a possibly-intoxicated motorist. While in pursuit of the vehicle, the officer saw the driver run through two stop signs.

TWO ARRESTED: An officer on patrol at 6:05 p.m. Dec. 25 was told of a vehicle being driven by a possibly-intoxicated motorist. While in pursuit of the vehicle, the officer saw the driver run through two stop signs. After the vehicle was stopped, the female driver was arrested for driving with a suspended license and on outstanding arrest warrants. Her male passenger also was arrested due to outstanding warrants.

STOLEN VEHICLE: A city officer was dispatched at 11 p.m. Dec. 24 to a Mason Avenue address, where a Pierce County deputy was on the scene of an automobile accident. The deputy determined the vehicle had been stolen and the owner was a Buckley resident. The city officer took a theft report and the vehicle was towed form the scene.

GIFT CARDS: Officers responded Dec. 24 to a Division Street address, where a wallet containing two gift cards, but no identification, had been found. They could not determine an owner, so the items were placed in the police property room.
