Sara Hartjoy and Jeff Greene were married during an early-evening ceremony July 30,  2011, at Crystal Mountain. Performing the ceremony was Kent Fire Department Chaplain Pat Ellis.

The bride is the daughter of Gene Hartjoy and Sandy Ellis of Enumclaw. She graduated from Enumclaw High School in 1998 and earned a bachelor of arts degree in early childhood and elementary eduction from Central Washington University 2006. She is employed as a first-grade teacher in the Enumclaw School District.

The groom is the son of Tim and Linda Greene of East Wenatchee, Wash. He graduated from Eastmont  High in 2000 and attended Bates Technical College, earning an associate’s degree in technology in 2003. He is a firefighter with the Kent Fire Department.

Serving as matron of honor for the wedding ceremony was Lea Tiger-Tice. Bridesmaids were Lindsay Berrimana and Lisa Krause.

The best man was Josh Luke and groomsmen were Kevin Long and Aaron Krause.

The couple took a honeymoon trip to Cancun, Mexico, and now reside in Enumclaw.
