June 4
• The late Dick Brugger, who founded Auburn Youth Resources and who was a leader in efforts to curb youth drug use in south King County, will be honored from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Dick Brugger Building Dedication in Auburn, located at 932 Auburn Way South.
June 5
• Calvary Presbyterian Church (1725 Porter St., Enumclaw) will host adult, child & infant CPR, AED & First Aid training by CPR Northwest from noon to 4:30 p.m. The price is $68 per person, and you can call Adrie De Klerk in the church office at 360-825-3820 to reserve a place.

• White River High School graduates at the Washington State Fairgrounds in Puyallup.
June 11
• Stroll and sip through downtown Enumclaw during the Chamber of Commerce’s Spring Beer Walk from 5 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $35, and you’ll get to sample beers and ciders from breweries around the Pacific Northwest. Visit enumclawchamber.com/events/spring-beer-walk for more information.

• Enumclaw High School graduates at the Enumclaw Expo Center football field.
June 18
• Ten Trails hosts a Father’s Day market with gifts for dad next to the housing development’s welcome center from 3:30 to 7 p.m.

• Enumclaw hosts its first summer concert of the season at Rotary Centennial Park (1070 Griffin Ave.), from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The theme is “Name Those Tunes XXIII”.
June 25
• The Buckley Log Show is back June 25 and 26 on the log show grounds at 375 N River Avenue. The show starts Saturday at noon after the log show parade, and starts Sunday at 11 a.m. The Junior Log Show, meanwhile, takes place June 18. • Put a bird on it with the Rainier Audubon Society’s yearly Bird Festival at Flaming Geyser State Park. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m, you can enjoy guided birdwalks, workshops, presentations and more. A discovery pass or $10 entry fee is required.
RECURRING EVENTS
Enumclaw Plateau Farmer’s Market
• Opening day is June 2 for the local farmer’s market, which opens from 3 to 7 p.m. every Thursday throughout the summer, ending Sept. 29. You can get fresh flowers, produce and more from the market on First Street between the Enumclaw Library and Tractor Supply.
Cinema on Sheets
• The city of Buckley is hosting five free movie events at Sheets Field at Glacier Middle School. The first is July 8 with Space Jam; July 8 with Encanto; July 22 with Shrek; Aug. 5 with The Goonies; and Harry Potter on Aug. 19.
Coffee with the Mayor
• Coffee with the mayor of Enumclaw is held at City Hall on every first Monday of the month (Tuesday if it is on a holiday) from 9 to 10 a.m. This is a casual session for citizens to meet with Mayor Jan Molinaro to discuss issues, concerns, and projects.
Brewskis with a Newsie
• Come meet your local journalists on the first Wednesday of each month at Cole Street Brewery (1627 Cole Street, Enumclaw) from 5 to 6 p.m. This is an informal event where residents can pitch stories, fact-check articles, and talk shop. Tunes by the Trail
• The city of Buckley is hosting 10 music events over 5 days in July and August — the events start with a kids concert at 11 a.m., followed by a family evening concert at 6 p.m., all held at the Youth Center lawn near 251 S River Ave. Featured on July 14 is Alex Zerbe and Beat Frequency; Kupono and BroHamM on July 21; Eric Nuss and Hot Rodster on July 28; Reptile Isle (a reptile show) and Abbagraphs on Aug. 4; and the Brian Waite Band and Good Co Bank on Aug. 11.
WIBIT Night
• The Enumclaw Aquatic Center hosts WIBIT Night every first Saturday of the month, and features large, inflatable pool obstacle courses. Call 360-815-1188 to reserve your spot. Tickets for reservations are $7.75 an hour; drop-ins are $9 an hour.
