Specializing in handcrafted items made by local residents, Amanda and James Sprau have opened Country Girl Boutique in downtown Enumclaw.

Inside the Railroad Avenue shop, visitors find custom signs, home decor and gifts for baby and bridal showers, weddings or housewarming parties. There’s even “a little something for him, too,” the owners say.

Amanda Sprau, a mother of three, started making nursery room signs for her kids, and expanded to making signs for baby shower gifts. Spurred by family, she started selling her creations, which she tailored to meet customer desires. Soon, she was busy day and night and finally decided to leave the dental field and open a storefront business.
