Cards make it easy to stay in touch

Marsha McLean has found the answer to sending personal greeting cards, even when it seems she doesn’t have the time, and she’s sharing her secret.

McLean is an independent distributor for SendOutCards, an online greeting card company that lets subscribers select a card from its inventory, add videos and photos if desired, and include a personal message. The company prints the card, addresses the envelope, puts a stamp on it and sends it out through the postal service.

“It has really changed how I stay in touch with people,” McLean said.

McLean said she received a card from someone and was so impressed she started asking, “How’d you do that?” and “Where’d you get it?”

She found the answer was SendOutCards. When she started receiving the same questions about the cards she was sending, she decided to become an independent distributor.

The company allows participants to send one card or multiple cards. McLean said the multi-card option is great for Christmas and business marketing.

There are several card options – postcard, trifold or traditional. Senders can also add gifts or gift cards.

The subscription fee is based on volume, but a monthly subscription starts at $9.80, which works out to about a handful of traditional bi-fold cards for 98 cents each plus postage.
