A fire caused by fireworks, someone locked in a storage facility, and teens on a joyride.

ENUMCLAW

Aug. 26

– Officers were called to Seeders around 8:22 p.m. regarding a subject yelling threats. Police contacted the subject, and they moved along.

– Police were dispatched to The Game Vault around 9:17 p.m. to a theft report. Officers were able to find a suspect who had taken a backpack; the item was returned, and the subject cited and released.

– Officers responded to a two-vehicle collision on SR 410 around 10:36 p.m. They remained on scene until Washington State Patrol came along to take over and investigate a possible DUI.

Aug. 27

– Police stopped a subject on Watson Street around 12:40 a.m. and arrested them on a warrant. They were booked in the local jail.

– A traffic stop on Railroad Street and Marshall Avenue around 1:51 a.m. resulted in a DUI arrest, amid other charges.

– Officers came across several vehicles parked in a no-parking area on Initial Avenue around 6:18 a.m. Some owners were contacted and the vehicles moved; others were impounded.

– A Cole Street business told officers an employee was spit on around 1:20 p.m. Police were unable to locate a subject.

– Police received a call from a Kibler Avenue resident about a stolen car around 2:45 p.m.; the car had already been recovered in Tacoma.

– Officers assisted firefighters on McKinley Street around 8:31 p.m. to put out a fire. It appears it was started by fireworks; no suspects were around.

– Police were called to the Expo Center to a trespassed individual on the premisses around 10:35 p.m. The subject was arrested, booked, and released.

– Officers responded to a noise complaint on Harding Street around 11:50 a.m.; someone was blaring their car horn. Police advised the subject to stop.

Aug. 28

– Police received a report of a fight at Seeders around 12:50 a.m. They broke up the fight, but no one wanted to report themselves as a victim.

– Officers received a report of a missing daughter around 8:10 p.m. Dispatch later informed police the girl was found in Auburn.

Aug. 30

– A Wells Street traffic stop around 1:56 a.m. resulted in a DUI arrest.

Aug. 31

– Police were called by an intoxicated individual about their car being stoled off Railroad Street around 1:44 a.m. During the courtesy ride home, the vehicle was located on the side of the road, though the subject agreed to leave the vehicle there for the rest of the night.

– Officers received a report of suspicious subjects telling people on Initial Avenue they were looking for their sister around 10:19 p.m. They departed when they learned police were called.

– Officers trespassed a subject from a Cole Street business around 10:43 p.m.

BLACK DIAMOND

Aug. 18

– Officers received a call around 7 a.m. regarding a 216th Avenue SE burglary. Officers contacted the caller who stated sometime between the 13th and the 18th, someone broke the rear door handle on a building. It didn’t appear anything was taken.

Aug. 24

– Police received a call about suspicious circumstances on 3rd Avenue around 3:22 p.m.; the caller reported a foul smell, like something had died. Officers arrived at the area but did not smell anything suspicious.

– Officers were dispatched to the Free Up storage facility on 3rd Avenue around 10:12 p.m. The caller was locked inside the gate of the facility and requested help exiting. Police identified the subject and confirmed they were allowed to access the facility before helping them leave.

Aug. 25

– Police were dispatched to 216th Avenue SE to a suspicious vehicle report around 10:32 p.m. A passerby noticed two vehicles and subjects dressed in black and tactical gear. When officers arrived, they found one car but no subjects; they also checked the last place the other vehicle was spotted with no luck.

Aug. 26

– Officers responded to a theft report on Ash Avenue SE around 4:11 p.m. A handgun was stolen.

Aug. 27

– Police were on patrol around Lake Sawyer Road around 12:22 a.m. and located a car parked in front of Lake Sawyer Church. A facilities manager arrived shortly after to respond to an alarm coming from the building. It was soon discovered an employee was working late and set the alarm off.

Aug. 28

– Officers were called about a speeding vehicle around Ten Trails Parkway around 10:26 p.m. The caller said the vehicle ran a stop sign and had a young subject standing through the moon roof. Police located the vehicle in a new construction area and contacted the subjects in side; they refused to identify themselves and fled the scene. Officers identified the subjects later and charges were forwarded to the prosecutor.
