Hundreds of kids and adults overtook Cole Street on Halloween night to show off costumes and to trick-or-treat with downtown businesses.

We saw gray-haired wizards, cretaceous lizards, Elsa of Arendelle and her magical blizzards. Mario, Luigi and Sonic saved the day, and plenty of grownups brought their pups to come and play.
Some were elvish; one was Elvis. The nine-foot Dementor was quite the frightful creeper.
So the candy flowed, and the looks were killer. But the real headliner was the flash mob’s “Thriller.”
