Dec. 30
– Officers observed a truck speeding more than 80 mph in a 35 mph zone on SR 410 around 1:49 a.m. Police attempted to stop the vehicle but were unable to do so. Officers did not pursue.
Dec. 31
– Police saw a male driver speeding going east on SR 410 around 12:44 a.m. Officers were able to stop the car and when they made contact with him, smelled intoxicants. After a DUI investigation, he was arrested; the man was later found to be two times over the legal limit.
– While on patrol, officers saw a vehicle swerving and speeding on SR 410 around 2 a.m. Police conducted a traffic stop and smelled intoxicants when they contacted the male driver. He was placed under arrest after in investigation; he was three times over the limit.
– Police were notified of a man being released from the Regional Justice Center in Pierce County around 5:05 p.m. because he had a warrant for possession of a stolen vehicle out of Buckley. The man was transferred to the SCORE jail to be booked.
– Officers observed a known male with felony warrants on SR 410 around 9:52 a.m. Police detained the man but the jail declined booking, so he was released.
Jan. 1
– While on patrol, police saw a young male on the ground in a parking lot on Main Street around 1:29 a.m.; he was bleeding from the face and unconscious. After contacting nearby subjects, they learned the man was in a fight and the other subjects fled before officers arrived. The man later regained consciousness and became uncooperative; medial aid transported him to the hospital.

Dec. 29
– Officers responded to an unwanted subject at Mail Express around 9:31 a.m. The subject received a courtesy ride to a relative’s home.
– Police received a report of a lock being cut off at PNW Powersports and an attempted theft from Quality On Time Machining around 10:42 a.m.
– Officers received a 911 hangup call around 4:16 p.m. On call back, a child answered. Their grandparents eventuall contacted police to confirm there was no emergency.
– A Mount Rainier ranger turned in found items to police around 4:32 p.m.
– Officers helped with the exchange of a child on Garrett Street between guardians around 6:17 p.m.
Dec. 30
– Police received a welfare check requests for an Iris Lane resident who had not been seen in over a week around 12:08 p.m. Officers learned the subject was out of state for the holidays.
– Officers received a report of a subject falling into the Roosevelt Avenue roadway around 12:57 p.m. The subject was having a medical emergency, so aid was called and they were transported to a hospital.
– A domestic dispute on Watson Street around 10:05 p.m. resulted in an arrest.
Dec. 31
– EMTs requested assistance with a subject laying outside a Cole Street business around 12:07 a.m. The subject was taken home by friends after being cleared by aid.
– Officers attempted to locate where shots were heard on Chinook Avenue around 9:10 a.m., but were unable to do so.
– Police received a report of an unwanted subject on Semanski Street around 4:23 p.m. The reporting party said the subject was previously trespassed, but officers couldn’t find any record of them being so.
– Officers responded to a fireworks complaint on both Willow Drive around 6:27 p.m. and Chinook Avenue around 11:38 p.m. The issues were settled on contact.
Jan. 1
– Police responded with EMTs to an overdose on Grand Fir Drive around 11:31 a.m. The subject was revived and transported to a hospital.
– Officers were dispatched to an assault report on Myrtine Street around 7:01 p.m. The incident is being investigate.
Jan. 2
– Police responded to a suspicious subject report on Noble Fir Circle around 7:29 a.m.; the man had a second pair of pants around his ankles as he was walking in the roadway. He told officers he was walking home, and will stay on the side of the road.
– Officers were dispatched to a residential burglary in progress on Noble Fir Circle around 5:20 p.m. A subject was located and arrested.
Jan 3
– Police arrested a man on Semanski Street around 2:02 a.m. after a domestic assault report.
Jan. 4
– Officers arrested a subject on Semanski Street around 12:29 p.m. after the local court issued a warrant.
– An unwanted subject on Cole Street was arrested on a warrant around 4:04 p.m.
– Police and EMTs responded to a combative patient report around 8:57 p.m. The subject was involuntarily committed at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
Jan. 5
– Officers wrangled a car on Roosevelt Avenue around 12:18 a.m. after it came out of gear and started rolling around.

Dec. 25
– Officers were dispatched to Morgan Street around 10:43 p.m. in regards to an unwanted person. Police were unable to locate the subject.
Dec. 26
– Police responded to a non-injury collision on Railroad Avenue around 12:06 p.m. It appeared one car hit another while it was trying to park. Officers helped exchange information between the drivers.
Dec. 27
– Officers assisted Enumclaw police in taking photos of a crime scene on Chinook Pass Road around 6:21 a.m.
– Police took a report of malicious mischief on Buena Vista Road around 11 a.m.
– Officers responded to a single-vehicle collision on Enumclaw Black Diamond Road around 5:25 p.m. The driver said their car was hit by a cougar; the vehicle had to be towed away.
– Police assisted in clearing a tree blocking SE 312th Street around 11:07 p.m.
Dec. 29
– Officers were made aware of a commercial burglary on 3rd Avenue around 1:08 p.m. Police gathered digital evidence.
Dec. 30
– Police assisted Enumclaw officers with a traffic stop on Roosevelt Avenue around 3:59 a.m.
– Officers were made aware of a burglary at a storage unit on 3rd Avenue around 10:18 a.m. The case is under investigation.
Dec. 31
– Police were dispatched to SE Evergreen Street to a complaint about loud people at the nearby park around 2:03 p.m. The calls are frequent and unfounded, so officers recorded it for informational purposes only.
