Feb. 3
Wine and Chocolate: The Enumclaw Expo Center’s annual Wine and Chocolate Festival is being held Feb. 3 from 5 to 10 p.m. and Feb. 4 from 2 to 10 p.m. Inside Les Schwab and Restorx Halls will be over 15 Washington state wineries with samples of their wares, plus local chocolatiers, live entertainment and music, and other vendors ranging from crafts to hot sauce. General admission to the event, which includes a commemorative wine glass and eight tasting tickets, is $49. There is also a two-day ticket package for $60, and a VIP package for two, which includes three additional tastes at the VIP lounge, a charcuterie box, a box of chocolate, and more surprises for $135. Comedy at The Chalet: Stand-up comedian Ben Bailey, best known for the hit show Cash Cab, is performing live in Enumclaw on Feb. 11. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; the show starts at 7 p.m. General admission tickets are $20, but Priority tickets are $25. Purchase tickets at chalettheatre.com/#upcoming.
Valentine’s Day Market: Black Diamond’s Ten Trail development is hosting a Valentine’s Day Market on Feb. 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Welcome Center Parking Lot. There will be local vendors and food trucks.

Super Bowl showing: Want to watch The Superbowl on the big screen? The Chalet is hosting a free showing on Feb. 12. The doors open at 3 p.m., with kickoff at 3:30 p.m.
Feb. 14
Buckley cookie exchange: Join the Buckley Senior Center for a Valentine’s Day Cookie Exchange on Feb. 14, starting at 10 a.m. Attendees are requested to bring at least a dozen of their favorite cookies and be willing to share their own recipe. Feb. 22
Breakfast for the Birds: The Enumclaw Garden Club is hosting its 57th Breakfast for the Birds on Feb. 22nd, starting at 9 a.m. at the Enumclaw High School. The theme is Bird is the Word. The event will include breakfast by New York Catering, Ed Coppin, and the ever-popular hat parade. The guest speaker will be Neil Zimmerman, outreach chair for NW Audubon society. Brewskis with a Newsie: Come meet your local journalists on every first Wednesday of each month at Cole Street Brewery (1627 Cole Street, Enumclaw) from 5 to 6 p.m. This is an informal event where residents can pitch stories, fact-check articles, and talk shop. Free county services: The King County Department of Local Services holds office hours every Thursday at the Enumclaw Library (1700 1st Street) from 10 a.m. through 1 p.m. Locals can get free notary service, support with building permits or pet license applications, and general information about county services. Email access@kcls.org for accommodation for disabilities.
WIBIT Night: The Enumclaw Aquatic Center hosts WIBIT Night every first Saturday of the month, and features large, inflatable pool obstacle courses. Call 360-815-1188 to reserve your spot. Tickets for reservations are $7.75 an hour; drop-ins are $9 an hour.
