Workers installed three of the five Foothills Bridge segments over the White River on Aug. 17, the most flashy being the “Network Arch”, which consists of the two arches that are tied off with suspension rods.
The remaining section on the Buckley side of the river is expected to be completed by the end of September, and the section on the Enumclaw side by October.
King County says the bridge is on track to be open to pedestrians by spring or early summer of 2024.
