Tomas (Tom) Barrett, age 73 of Enumclaw, passed away August 26th, 2023.

He was born on April 11, 1950, to Bruce and Jean Barrett in Mission, British Columbia he then moved to Bellingham, Washington when he was two before moving to Enumclaw where he spent most of his life.

Tom worked for Weyerhaeuser in Enumclaw for thirty-one years, then went to work for Eagle Systems until he

retired in 2018.

Tom and his wife Melody lived in Enumclaw where he loved working in his yard and garden; he especially loved his roses and watching the hummingbirds visit his firecracker flowers. Tom enjoyed going to Naches, camping trips with family, NASCAR, football, the Buckley Log Show, but most of all spending time with family and friends. If you knew Tom, he always had a smile on his face and couldn’t wait to tell you a corny joke.

Tom is survived by his wife Melody; children: Chaela, Kristine, Erik, Sunny, Kristie (Keith) and Rob (Kari); grandchildren: Xandra, Kaylie, Kolby, Madison, Maxx, T.J., Bridget, Marisa, Jesse, Jeffrey, Cody, and great- granddaughter Karsyn; stepmom Ingrid; sister Joanne (Pat), brother Dan (Cristi), brother-in-law Ron (Brenda), and many nieces and nephews.

Tom was proceeded in death by his parents, sister June Mullen, and brother-in-laws Vern Mullen, Hank Keeley, and Fid Keeley.

A celebration of life will be held at the Buckley Eagles, September 24, 2023, at 1:00.
