An Enumclaw resident died in a car crash early morning on Wednesday.

According to a Washington State Patrol report, Patricia Fischetti, 71, was driving southbound on SR 169, just south of Black Diamond, around 3:40 a.m. when her car veered to the northbound shoulder and struck a tree.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

The WSP notes that Fischetti was living in Entiat, WA at the time of the crash.
