Beginning with the 2013 season, the track’s 5th floor turf club area has been renamed and rebranded as The Redhook Turf Club at Emerald Downs.

“We are excited to team with Redhook for the naming rights of the Turf Club,” said Emerald Downs Marketing Director Sophia McKee. “Redhook is a strong brand with a local presence and a strong tie to sports and entertainment. It’s a perfect fit for our audience.”

Founded in 1981 by Paul Shipman and Gordon Bowker, Redhook Ale Brewery is a member of the Craft Brew Alliance. CBA is an independent, publicly traded craft brewing company that was formed with the merger of leading Pacific Northwest craft brewers * Widmer Brothers Brewing and Redhook Ale Brewery * in 2008.
With breweries in Woodinville and Portsmouth, N.H., Redhook currently produces several styles of beer, marketed under distinct brand names. Redhook’s flagship brand is Redhook Extra Special Bitter (ESB), and it also produces Long Hammer, Pilsner, and the newest addition Audible Ale, brewed in collaboration with sports broadcaster Dan Patrick. Redhook Ale Brewery will also pour their brews at the Emerald Downs WA Cup Beer Festival on September 8.

The Redhook Turf Club offers personal and business membership, both featuring exclusive privileges in elegant, enclosed surroundings overlooking Mt. Rainier and the one-mile oval. Membership features include credentials for year-long admission, preferred parking, exclusive Club View Dining, private mutuel tellers, the latest plasma-screen technology, elegant wines in the Chinook Pass Lounge, and much more.

The 75-day season runs April 19 to September 29, with live racing every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays.
