On the afternoon of May 18, 2024, Frankie passed away following a months-long illness.

Born on November 15, 1939 in Buckley, WA to Cliff and Marie Oles. She was raised in South Prairie along with her brothers and sister and many members of her large extended family.

She graduated from White River High School (Buckley, WA) in 1957 and worked in the insurance industry for 40+ years until her eventual retirement. Along the way, she made many life-long friends who represent all the stages of her life. She lived her entire adult life within a couple miles of home but enjoyed travel when the opportunity presented itself.

She will be missed by so many.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, two brothers (James and John) and infant son Jeffrey. She is survived by her husband Fay Rice, daughters Sherry Marks (partner Steve) and Stephanie Swain (husband Bill), granddaughter Carry Swain, bonus “kids” Casey and Lisa Rice, Jim Rice and Carrie Stevens. Her brothers Raymond (Nora) Oles, Steven Oles and sister Cathy (David) Frye, bonus brother Sam Woolery, numerous nieces and nephews as well as other extended family.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
