Volunteers clean up the ‘Claw

Despite the damp, dozens of volunteers were spread out around the Plateau last Saturday for the annual Beautify Enumclaw and Beautify Buckley events to make their cities shine – or at least have less weeds in the well-visited green spaces. Pictured is Kaitlynn Solbrack tossing weeds into a trash bag with sister Kaili and parents Jennifer and Johnathan at the Enumclaw Bull; EHS football players Brody Hardersen and Dylan Swanson clearing out ivy and sticker bushes with the rest of the team at the Enumclaw Golf Course; and McCoy and Wyatt Chrag taking a (well earned) snack break at the Foothills Trail memorial lot.
