Helen Marie Malidore was born August 21, 1924 and passed away on October 14, 2024 at the age of 100. She was known for her independent strongwilled nature, religious devotion, and love of family.

Helen’s early education was completed at Fairview Primary School, followed by her graduation from Roosevelt High School in 1942 in Seattle. Her career was diverse and fulfilling; she began working as an elevator operator and retail clerk, later becoming a clerk typist. Helen devoted many years to her family as a stay-at-home mother while married to Ronald Malidore. Raising four sons. She then served as secretary for the Superintendent of the Enumclaw School District for 24 years. Retiring July 31, 1987.

Helen’s personal life was enriched by her hobbies. Including gardening, painting, spending time with her grandchildren, being an avid reader and devout Christian. She enjoyed spending time with friends at the Enumclaw Presbyterian Calvary Church and Auburn White River Presbyterian Church. Helen’s commitment to her faith and family was evident in everything she did.

Helen is survived by her four sons, two daughters in-law, as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Stella and Hubert Craigen, brother David, daughter-in-law Ann, and Ronald Malidore (Father of her children).

Helen’s life was a testament to her resilience and the love she had for her family and friends.Her passing is a great loss for all who loved her.

A memorial service will be held on November 2, 2024, 1 o’clock in the afternoon at Calvary Presbyterian Church in Enumclaw.
